The quince is an extraordinary, anceint fruit, that most people in this country have never eaten, or possibly even seen!  Widely used in European countries, this fruit is a powerhouse of flavor and lends itself to many culinary adventures. The Aromatnaya Quince is an unusual quince that is sweet enough to eat fresh (most varieties are very astringent when eaten raw). The quince has a texture mixed between an apple and a pear. This variety has a light pineapple flavor with a citrus aroma, which is excellent for cooking, jelly making, or adding to apple cider.
