The punjab pepper, capsicum annuum, is a thin elongated chilli from the Punjab region of India that ages from green to red. It is one of the more popular Indian chillies. It has a unique profile of sweetness and a delayed heat build-up, like no 'grocery store variety' you'll find!
They are great for hot pickles, sauces and ground for seasoning. It is a great 'all purpose' pepper that adds depth of flavor to any sweet or savory dish. It's flavor profile works well with seafood, all meats and most vegetables along with coconut, lime and lemon.
