The Jarrahdale is a cross between the Cinderella & Blue Hubbard pumpkins. It is an Australian heirloom, developed indigenously and named after the small town of Jarrahdale, near Perth, Western Australia. This slate blue/gray pumpkin is excellent for carving, eating and storing! They are true gourmet pumpkins, known for their sweet taste and are prized for use in pies, scones, soups or stews, and make a fantastic upgrade in recipes that call for butternut squash. It has INCREDIBLE storage life, lasting as many as 12 months after harvest!
